Damage insurance is included in the price of the rental. The damage insurance reduces the lessee for standard repair or replacement cost by 70% (i.e., the lessee is responsible for 30%). Damage insurance does not cover loss or theft. Standard violin outfits are valued at $700, violas $800, cellos $1,900 and basses $2,500. Violins/Violas: $4/month, Cellos: $5/month, Basses: $7/month.
Violins & More of Lynchburg Rental Terms
Violins & More of Lynchburg, Inc., will credit 50% of paid rental fees (not including insurance and tax) toward the purchase price of your Violins & More rental instrument outfit or an upper-level retail instrument.
Rental credit must be used within 6 months of returning the rental instrument. Rental credit from more than one individual, even of the same family, may not be combined. Any unused rental credit is forfeited at the time of sale. Rental credit is non-transferable and may not be combined with trade-in credit. Rental credit may be used for the purchase of instruments or instrument outfits only. Rental credit only applies toward the class of instrument rented (for example, cello credit may only be used toward a cello, but not toward a violin and credit cannot be used for a bow or an accessory).
By signing this statement, I am acknowledging receipt of and hereby agree to the Rental Policies set forth by Violins & More of Lynchburg, Inc. If I default on the payment of any amounts owed to Violins & More of Lynchburg, Inc., I agree to be responsible for all collection agency charges, legal costs, court fees, and attorney’s fee at 1/3 of the balance turned over. I am aware that if my account has a balance of over 90 days that I will be charged an annual interest rate of 18%. I signify that it is my responsibility to return the instrument personally to Violins and More of Lynchburg, if I no longer wish to rent, I will not hold anyone else or any entity such as a school responsible to return the instrument.
This certifies that I have rented from Violins & More of Lynchburg, Inc. The first payment shall be paid upon the signing of this agreement, and subsequent payments shall be charged to the credit card on file on the day of the month the rental began. Invoices which are 30 days past due because of a declined or expired credit card number will be subject to a late fee of $5 per month. If the lessee fails to respond for more than 60 days to Violins & More inquiries as to new card numbers or expiration dates, then Violins & More reserves the right to reclaim the instrument and the lessee will be responsible to pay collection costs. The lessee can cancel this agreement at any time by returning the instrument outfit to Violins & More of Lynchburg, Inc. This agreement can also be canceled by Violins & More of Lynchburg, Inc. if rental payments are more than 60 days past due.
I signify that I have read and understand all the terms and conditions of this contract. I understand all that is required of me to rent and maintain this instrument properly. I give Violins & More of Lynchburg, Inc. permission to charge my credit card for all rental, insurance, and damage charges. I will notify Violins & More of any changes to my credit card information.
