Did you know that all of the Lynchburg City Elementary Schools provide free Suzuki violin lessons? We are one of the only cities in the entire Commonwealth that offers this excellent and inclusive program.
The Suzuki violin method offers a holistic approach to learning violin that emphasizes ear training, listening, parental involvement and the development of character and memory skills. By mimicking the way children learn their native language, the method allows students to begin at a very young age and fosters a supportive community.
We, here at Violins and More, do all we can to support this program. In fact, both of the owners of the shop were present at the Suzuki Festival and provided piano accompaniment and emceed the program.
